Stand alone 1 Day Taster Session teaching mindfulness and how it can be incorporated into every day life.
The course provides an introduction to mindfulness and stress reduction techniques using four or more fundamental guided practices from the full 8 week courses. Each class includes guided practical exercises and group discussions led by an experienced facilitator in a friendly atmosphere with a maximum of 15 participants.
This course teaches a valuable life skill, the development of which requires a personal commitment to maintaining regular practice over time.
Who Should Attend
This course is particularly suitable for beginners with an inquiring mind to find out more. A diverse range of people can attend from parents of young children, pregnant women, OAPs to corporate directors and healthcare professionals wanting to explore practical applications in their respective fields.
Course Schedule & Delivery
This course will be taught over one day lasting 3 – 3.5 hours in the morning and the same in the afternoon (up to 7 hours total) with a ‘mindful’ lunch hour in between. Participants will be provided with information sheets to understand how they can think about integrating mindfulness into their daily lives.
Delivery is in a Face to Face class room setting.
Participants can bring comfortable clothing, a blanket and/or a Yoga mat if required.
This course can be varied to meet the needs of individuals, for a small extra cost, coaching can be provided to individuals on a 1:1 basis, to teams or families.
